Area of performance: The LEFBV acts in the structure analysis, dynamics and variation of the diversity of vegetal communities of the Atlantic Forest in a strict sense and vegetal formations associates, searching to understand which forms of relations between the different biotics and abiotics components inside these ecosystems and determine the composition, wealth, the diversity of species and the variations in the population parameters of the species that compose these systems. This interpretation has been carried through surveys and flowers inventories and studies of the dynamics of the vegetal communities in different localities and different degrees of degradation.
