Area of performance: The LEBC has for objectives to study and to characterize the use of the habitat, secular budget, photo-identification, behavior, estimate and parameters and the vocalizations of Cetacean of the Brazilian coast, with more intense performance in the areas of the Sepetiba and Parati Bay and in the coast of the Bahia State. It also has for objective the determination and measurement of the impacts on cetáceos caused for activities potentially inductive human beings of sonorous pollution, as oil platforms, seismic traffic of boats and 3D surveys.
