The Department of Forest Products - IF/UFRRJ has the responsibility to lead the Forest Engineering students to the learning of the techniques and operations correlated to the products generated for the forest raw material, mainly the wood. Speaking on behalf of our faculty, its with great satisfaction that we place in them the disposal to share information, e to repass our experience, in the area of Wood Technology and the Forest Products. Inside of the pretty Campus of the UFRRJ, we have the chance of being able to count on great areas of forests you renewed, available for study and production in laboratory scale, of consumption good as: sawed wood, coal, cellulose, treated wood (moirões, poles, shorings, dormentes and others); always using modern techniques of processing and developing research that takes the rational use, conscientious and correct of the forest.
