The Laboratory of Paper and Cellulose takes care of the students who registered IF-314 disciplines - Technology of Paper and Cellulose, trainees and scholarship. Currently, the related laboratory counts on a rotating electric digestor, a Refiner Bauer and a Column Formadora TAPPI, beyond other equipment that also serves in the Laboratory of Wood Energy , such as: oven, muffles, digital scale, among others. Having for base the available infrastructure, in the Laboratory of Paper and Cellulose there is conditions to lead research works inside of the following lines: pulping of lignocelulosic raw materials, quali-quantitative analysis of wood pulp celulosic, whitening of wood pulp celulosic, Coloration and decoloration of wood pulp celulosic, production of isotropic papers, fibers consorciation, analysis of the effect of loads and additives, paper recycle, etc.
