The Laboratory of physical and mechanical assays, of the Department of Forest Products, offers an infrastructure of support for evaluation of the physical and mechanical properties and the resistance of wood and its derivatives. The laboratory possesses a universal machine of assays, projected for wood and panels body test. In the laboratory practical lessons are carried with the disciplines Wood Technology and Wood Structures and the research activities of scientific initiation of Graduation student in Forest Engineering and the projects of master and doctor of Postgraduation student.
