Dear student,
Welcome to the course of Forest Engineer of the UFRRJ!
In fact, you are privileged people. Many would like to study in a public university of quality, and you reach what many desire. Beyond a great privilege, it is a great responsibility with the society and with the family of each one.
It is, still, a new experience of life. Many of you can live in the University Campus and will need to interact with other people from varied cultures, and will have that to learn how to take decisions, trying to make the best choices. They will be far from their family and they will find here, who knows, a new family.
It is our desire that the best occurs with you throughout the next years, but we know that the best does not occur simply only desiring the certain things. Beyond desiring, we have to learn to construct the best for ourselves.
Certainly from now a new universe will be ahead of you, and in the next years, many modifications will occur in the mind, the body and the character of each one. These experiences will be uneven in your life and we which that they will be extremely positive for your academic live. Our coordination of course will be always disposal for the orientation, the clarifications and the steps that are necessary for the concretion of the professional ideal of each one of you.
Full success to all!
