                                                    Forest training

The Residency in Forest Engineering (RFE) is a training for Forest Engineer, in the periods of 1 or 2 years — Residency in Forest Engineering 1 (R1) and Residency in Forest Engineering 2 (R2), respectively — developed by Forest Institute of the UFRRJ, through of Environment, Silviculture and Forest Products Departments, with the support of professors in the Natural Resources, Silviculture and Wood Technology Areas coordinated by the Commission of Residency in Forest Engineering.

The objectives of the program are to establish accords between the Rural Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) and universities, institutions and enterprises of public and private, national and international sectors in order to train Forest Engineers to exercise the profession by means of the actual socio-economic demands in forest field.

To participate of the Residency in Forest Engineering is necessary to read the UFRRJ edictal. All Forest Engineer with the maximum 3 (three) years of graduation or students at the last semester of Forest Engineering Graduation can be present as candidate for residency.
